For more than 13 years, a serial killer targeted women living in the margins in Memphis and one in Knoxville, yet for much of that time, no one knew he even existed. This is the second installment of a five-part series. When the two young men found Jessie Lee Maples one afternoon in Knoxville's Morningside Park, they were certain she was dead.
