How did this happen? It would be impossible for a stranger to walk in and do this. Such arrogance and presumption would not be condoned.

First, I had to live there, come to love the place and have it naturally evolve. Six years ago, I put my belongings in a storage unit and started traveling the world. I fought so many battles over those years. I started a creative writing program for incarcerated youth in juvenile hall and fought passionately to give a voice to the voiceless youth who were being thrown into prison.
