Unfortunately, today, about million Children and youth are still denied schooling due to lack of appropriate support, as per UNESCO's statistics. Our solution helps build and institutionalize simple support systems ensuring Education for All. Despite global efforts towards Education for underprivileged Children, an alarming 64 million Children of primary school age, still remain out of school.
Prejudice against Girl Education, Disability, profession and Health based stigma eg. Lack of awareness, accessibility of support systems and limited capability of Parents further restrict Children from school. Complex procedures limiting or denying access to entitlements and documents establishing identity Birth and Disability Certificates, Migrant and Refugee Status, etc. Based on experience, we find four leverage points bring change: integrating cost effective and accessible Technologies and tools like mobile phones for Birth Registration or counselling support; Awareness and Capacity Building of Parents, Caretakers and Teachers to access entitlements and provide timely essential support for Children; Poverty reduction through improved traditional and alternative Livelihoods which assist enrollment and uninterrupted Education of Children; Institutionalizing of the solution with support of Governance Bodies.
Our solution addresses Poverty and breaks the barriers excluding Children from schooling. The project ensures inclusion of all Actors to the Project and provides livelihood, digital, data-driven and people friendly tools. In the 6 Project locations, the average Family structure consists of 5 people. Thus, the second level beneficiaries targeted by AEA amounts to 1,, persons. This includes Caregivers, Teachers, Governance Bodies Members and State Officers, co-opted to ensure the success and sustainability within and outside the Project locations.
